This tut was written on November 09, 2010.
It is written using PSPX; I'm sure the same effects are available in other versions.

SUPPLIES
A tube.
I'm using the work of Alayna Magnan, formerly of CILM. She is currently with MPT (http://www.mypsptubes.com).

The following filters:
Xero - Fritallary
DSB Flux - Bright Noise
MuRa's Meister - Copies

Font of choice (I'm using "Aquaduct")

Let's begin!

Pick two colors from your tube - a lighter color in the foreground, a darker shade of the same color in the background.
Make a foreground gradient - Sunburst, Repeats 3.

Open a new image, 600x250.

Floodfill your image with the gradient.

Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise using Uniform, 12, Monochromatic checked.

Xero - Fritallary using the default setting.

Effects - Edge Effects - Enhance.

Duplicate this layer twice (for a total of three.)

On each layer, DSB Flux - Bright Noise using Intensity 47.
(Click the radial button before "Mix" each time.)

Highlight the top layer, and add a new layer.

Selection Tool - Custom Selection using the following setting:

Change the foreground gradient to Linear, Angle 90, Repeats 3 and fill the selection.

Selections - Select None.

MuRa's Meister - Copies using the Line preset, BUT...
Change the number from 8 to 13.
Change Shift X from 100 to 0
Change Shift Y from 0 to 100.

Image - Free Rotate using the following setting:

Using the Move tool, move the lines to the upper left corner of the image -
just until the upper left corner is covered, as in this sample:

Selection Tool - Custom Selection using the following setting:

Selections - Invert.

DELETE

Duplicate this layer.
Image - Mirror.
Layers - Merge Down.
Duplicate the merged layer.
Image - Flip.
Layers - Merge Down.

Add the same noise you added earlier.

Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow using 1, 1, 100, 1, black.

Add your tube, cropping if necessary.

Add a blurry drop shadow (I used Eye Candy 4000 - Shadowlab.)

(You may, if you wish, use Xero - Porcelain on the tube layer (set blue to 0.))

Add a 2 pixel Selection Border, using your dark color.

Add your name and all necessary copyright information.

Animate as usual, changing the Frame Properties to 35.

For the avatar:

Duplicate your tag (Shift + D.)

Remove the layer with your tube.

Crop to 150x150.

Add your 2 pixel selections border.

Add your name (or initial.)

You may, if you wish, choose to animate your avatar.

Here is another example, using the work of Andreas Rocha:

I've lost my mojo this week.
Help me, Rich! ???
I can't seem to follow this tut.
When I use the line preset at Mura Copies and change the number from 8 to 13, my result is just one long line.
What am I doing wrong?
I can't seem to get 13 lines.  LMAO!

Thanks, Sweetie!
I've been PSPing for years, and I can usually improvise to one point or another, but, I couldn't fake my way thru this one.
Let me go back and try again!

Had to be the easiest tut to follow, so simple yet what stunning results
I know you are into sexy ladies with big boobies, and even though this is a kitty, I didn't think it was your type of image
So I made it for myself  LOL

I had to leave the frame properties alone as changing to 35 made it near enough a still image lol

My try

Actually I just did a google search for that image and found it. It didn't have a copyright on it. I can delete it if you want though.

it's important that you only used copyright compliant images...if you go to The Zone Groups (www.thezonegroups.com), there are a lot of people there that can help you find images you can use here...
